Securing Your Release From A Memphis Jail

July 13, 2019

HOW TO POST BAIL THROUGH BAIL BONDS

No one wants to spend time in jail, even for a short time after an arrest. However, to be released from jail, an individual must pay the bail amount.

There are two different types of bail: cash bail and release on own recognizance.

A judge determines the type of bail before the alleged offender is processed and placed in jail. Release on one’s own recognizance means that the individual is granted release with the understanding that they must appear for their criminal proceedings.

If it is a cash bail, the individual or a third party must pay the bail amount to be released. One way to do so is to acquire the services of a bail bondsman.

Cash bail is often far more expensive than the imprisoned individual or their relations can afford.

By hiring a bail bondsman, the bondsman fronts the cost to secure your release or the release of your loved one. When the individual appears for their criminal proceedings, the court repays the bond.

All that the bond signee must pay is a premium to the bail bondsman. According to law, this premium is 10% of the bail amount, with a minimum of $100 per charge.

A Way Out Bail Bonds II Inc. can provide the security you need and help you post bail without facing financial hardship.
